Smart Training Plans

These training plans are designed for New Zealand's Half and Full Iron-distance events. Smart training - not mega training

Our "Complete" plans:

  • Low volume plans, building endurance to go the distance
  • Half Ironman: 16 weeks with expected finish time 7h+
  • Ironman: 20 weeks with expected finish time 14h+

Our "Challenge" plans:

  • Mid volume plans, including some harder training
  • Half Ironman: 16 or 20 weeks with goal finish time 5.5 - 6.5h
  • Ironman: 20 or 24 weeks with goal finish time 12-13h

Our "Perform" plans:

  • Higher volume and intensity so you are ready to perform
  • Half Ironman: 20 weeks with goal finish time 5h or less
  • Ironman: 24 weeks with goal finish time 10h-11h

Our plans include training zones for power, pace, and heart rate

 

Online Coach & Team Support

Our team live in different parts of New Zealand, but are connected and support each other through the journey

We run a private Facebook Group so everyone can stay connected. Through this Facebook group you can:

  • Ask questions - any and all questions encouraged!
  • Get feedback / answers from both coach and other team members
  • Contribute your experience and ideas
  • Stay motivated with the support of a team
  • Learn about the smart ways to train and race
